Paramount+ was launched on March 4, 2021, as the successor to CBS All Access. The rebranding expanded the service's content library to include programming from across ViacomCBS's portfolio. In 2022, the service merged with Showtime in the US, adding premium cable content. Paramount+ has since expanded internationally, launching in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, with a growing library of original productions.
