James Eugene Carrey (/ˈkæri/; born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian and American actor and comedian. His critically acclaimed performances include the title role in The Truman Show (1998) and Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon (1999), for which he won Golden Globe Awards.
