Following this success, his second film, "Short Hymn_Silent War," premiered at TIFF 2002, earning a Special Jury Citation and a subsequent nomination for a Genie Award in 2004. "Nurse.Fighter.Boy," his first feature film, was shot over 23 days in Toronto. Officer's multifaceted journey in the arts sadly concluded when he passed away in Toronto at the age of 48.
